🥣 Ingredients

  • 500g green beans, trimmed

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 cup cream or coconut milk

  • 2 tbsp butter or ghee

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • ½ tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Crispy fried onions for topping

  1. Blanch green beans in salted boiling water for 3–4 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. Heat butter in a pan, add cumin seeds and chopped onions. Sauté until golden.

  3. Add mushrooms, turmeric, and garam masala; cook until soft.

  4. Mix in cream or coconut milk and simmer for 5 mins.

  5. Combine beans and sauce in a casserole dish.

  6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 mins.

  7. Top with crispy onions before serving hot.
